Home Again!

Back home after almost 2 weeks on the road. During pro qualifying/ semi-pro finals, my camera died on me. It was most likely a combo of dust the first 2 days and rain the last 2 days. It is hopefully getting fixed right now. Sorry about not having official results, media room never got them. So heres some of the last shots!

Snowmass update 2

Day 2 of the Snowmass National is on, and it is soooo dusty. I only walked the top 1/2 of the course today. The brake bumbs are enormous and people are getting very loose, amazingly I have yet to see anyone fall. Heres some photos:

Snowmass Report

We got up Snowmass yesterday and did a little track walk last night. Track is pretty much the same as last year but the top section is more steep and quicker. As far as I know all classes ride the top part of the course but they split after the ski run part. There was no internet last night so sorry for no updates. We are now settled into our condo which has internet access so expect updates and photos every day. Track today was VERY dusty and is already getting blown out. Lines are changing by the rider, and this track has many line options. April Lawyer went out on a backboard today, but I was told this by someone else and dont know if is legit or not. I also heard that the lift broke, but that isnt forsure either. I will have photos up later tonite when I get on my laptop. Slalom and 4x are pretty cool. Heres some photos:

8/8/06

We are at frisco, co right now, and we rode keystone today, I would say it is the best biking I have done in a very long time, if not ever. I didnt shoot any photos because the riding was too good. We will be staying in frisco again tonight. Tomorrow we will be going to snowmass most likely, and if they have a legit media room, I will have many updates.

Brian Head Final

Photos are below!
Sorry about not getting updates up on saturday or sunday , I went up to the media room after slalom finals where Amiel Cavalier won, and the media room was closed and there is no other internet access. Also after finals the internet wasnt working. JD won JrX Downhill by 7 seconds. Today was nice with clear skies, dry dirt, and a nice temperature. It was Sam Hill in first, Minnaar in second, and Riffle in third for the qualifying. It was almost the same with the finals with 1. Hill 2. Minnaar 3. Matti Lehikoinen. The track was dry and well worn in. I am in Brekenridge right now and will be riding keystone tomorrow. Finally have a room with internet access. Brian Head Report

Got up to Brian Head yesterday from a long drive. Everything was wet because it had rained the night before. Yesterday was nice, no rain, nice skies and good trail conditions. A few people were bitching that it was too slippery, the biggest complainer was Alf. He is used to riding once a month in the mexican desert. Lots of fast guys out here like the Ironhorse/Monster and the G-Cross riders, as well as the normal NORBA fast guys. Downhill course is same as last year. Slalom isnt the best, so many people complained about it, they made a minor course change (adding 3 woops) There is about 5 turns in the whole course and I havent shot one shot yet. Slalom qualifying is going on right now so hopefully I will have updates later tonight. Today was a crazy rain storm for a while and I was stuck half way up the mountain, so I haven't shot too much.
